Asti Powell

Executive Director

Asti has spent the past decade working in the public and non-profit sectors, focused on bringing people together and planning for a stronger community. She holds a bachelor’s degree in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University and a Master of Public Administration from Ohio University.

Born and raised in Nelsonville, Ohio, Asti has dedicated much of her career to serving the Appalachian region-securing more than $20 million in grant funding, expanding programming, mobilizing volunteers, and leading public engagement efforts that create real impact in the lives of her neighbors.

Calling Chillicothe home for the last four years, Asti stays busy both professionally and personally, thanks to her energetic and spunky eight-year-old daughter, Rhyan. She is excited to be back working in and for the Ross County community, building upon the incredible foundation of PCMP and continuing efforts that make a lasting difference in the community and region.
